Mental health issues are becoming more common in people. According to the World Health Organization, 17 out of 20 people suffer from more than one mental health issues. And this is becoming more common in the latest generation. The rate of suicide has increased up to 37% in the past 30 years, but there are different ways to keep your mind distracted from different depression levels and from different health issues. There are several ways like you can make a hobby of doing anything, for example, you can start doing gym once a day and if you have any frustrations, you can channel those negative energies in that hobby.

Some people also do art and reveal their inner self on to the painting and it will also make you creative as well. The second and the most important thing that you can do is value yourself. Because if you let everyone let you down, you will feel bad about yourself, and even if they do, you must know what you are capable of and what value you give to yourself. Treat yourself with kindness, respect and always take care of yourself because if you are good to yourself, you will be good to others as well and people will also think that you are a strong person.

Thirdly, to maintain a healthy mind, you must have a healthy body as well. You must eat healthy fruits, leave any kind of smoking that you are doing but leave it gradually, drink a lot of water, take walks at random when you are having bad thoughts and get enough sleep and get a lot sleep on the weekends. You must be thinking that doing this is difficult but if you surround yourself with good people, they will motivate you in doing these things and they will appreciate you as well.

If you want to feel good about yourself, start volunteering at random activities. There are different ideas of doing that, you can volunteer at a pet store and spend time with animals. Or you can volunteer at the old age home or any hospital, taking care of others will feel good and will feel like small achievements. If you do this, you will know that how other people are dealing with stress and it will help you in figuring out different ways to deal with your stress as well.
